DIGITAL MEDIA PROJECT LEAD
Currently, Nushi Sharma is closely working with director and producer Thea Loo on the Filipino documentary Inay (Mama). The documentary is about immigration, family separation and migration labour.
Nushi is leading the creation of an interactive and promotional website for the film’s release. In 2023, she focused on conducting interviews with 7 Filipino OFWs (Overseas Foreign Workers) and their families. Nushi lead the creation of an interactive map that allows users to listen to these stories. This project aimed to bridge the silences between the first and second generations of the Filipino community.
